Sampling Point Selection
Sampling points should be representative, avoiding dead zones, bubble accumulation areas, and sediment buildup zones. Sample lines should be as short as possible to minimize lag time. For samples containing suspended solids, the sampling port should face the flow direction.
Pretreatment System
Design filtration, sedimentation, and temperature control measures based on water quality conditions. Pretreatment should not alter the sample's chemical properties. Dead volume should be minimized for fast response.
Routine Maintenance
Regular calibration (at least monthly recommended), sensor cleaning, tubing leak checks, and consumable replacement (electrolyte, membranes). Maintain a maintenance log to track sensor performance trends.
